Posters around local villages

We have found that posters around the local villages are an excellent way to promote the repair cafe, it is also worthwhile speaking with local shops and businesses about having a poster up in their premises. Schools and Surgeries may also be happy to pop up a poster for free.

We use posters a lot in Sheffield. Unfortunately we're not very good at getting them distributed though. In a big city getting enough posters out there to get them noticed is a massive task.

One trick we use is having one poster with all the repair cafe dates on it for the whole year. That way it's not necessary to continually replace them. It does require a bit of advanced planning though.
